Yes. Posting games, joining groups and grabbing spots are all free.
Only people in your groups. Groups are private and join-by-invite-link only — there's no public directory and no strangers.
First come, first served. The first person to tap "Grab a spot" gets it — if two people tap at the same moment, only one gets in. When the last spot goes, the game marks itself Full.
When you post a game you can offer it to picked friends first. Everyone else in the group won't see it until you open it up — either manually or automatically after 12, 24 or 48 hours.
Yes. Pick the days and how many weeks, and Takers posts each game separately — each with its own spots, so every week fills up on its own.
Yes — by email when a game is posted in your group, when someone joins your game, and when a game is full. You can switch each type off in your profile.
Tap the game and drop out — the spot reopens instantly for everyone else.
